I'm reluctant at a time like this to announce I'm leaving the Log Cabin Democrat.
There is much to be done with reporting on and lifting up the community as it recovers from one of the most destructive and deadly tornadoes in Arkansas' recent history, but plans have been in motion for me to move from Arkansas to join The Times, Shreveport, La.
I'll be serving as the newspaper's Community Connections Editor.
